Residential
Here are some examples of areas in the home commonly tested. Please note that you can request for us to test anything in your home even if it's not listed. Nothing is limited to the examples below.

Kitchen
When we test a kitchen, we usually test surfaces where food is prepared, especially where raw meat has been exposed. We test sinks, countertops, fridge shelves, hard floors, etc. It is important to remember to sanitize after each session of handling raw meat to prevent contamination.

washer and dryer
There have been traces of E-coli found in old front-load washers, so testing your washer is recommended.

Changing stations
Changing stations are another area that is often tested for deadly pathogens, it is recommended to sanitize after each use.

Water source
We also test water sources whether it is from the tap or brought in from somewhere else. When storing water, it is important to continually clean the container each time you refill it.

Bathroom
Common places to test in a bathroom are countertops, sinks, toilets, and bathtubs. It is recommended to clean and sanitize the bathroom daily and to remind family members to wash their hands after each use.

Animals
Animals are more susceptible to carrying pathogens, whether it is pets or livestock; it is crucial to be aware of the pathogens they can carry and to keep their living area clean, especially if it is in the house. We provide testing for animals at home. Chickens and cows have been known to carry E-coli.
